StoryLine:

In the year 2092, space is full of dangerous floating garbage like discarded satellites and deserted spaceships. The crew of a space junk collector ship called The Victory discovers a humanoid robot that’s known to be a weapon of mass destruction. They get involved in a risky business deal and travel through space looking for garbage they can make money off of while also competing with rival junk collectors.Set in the year 2092, Earth has become nearly uninhabitable. Fleeing the sick earth, UTS corporation builds a new orbiting Home for humanity. But only a chosen few can ascend.The plot follows the crew of a space junk collector ship called The Victory. But their lives take a huge turn when they discover a humanoid child robot named Dorothy that’s known to be a weapon of mass destruction. Space Sweepers follows a bandit of misfits in 2092 — space is full of junk, and the group competes against other pirates to collect rubbish and find anything valuable. It’s a window into a possible future where humans economize recycling for money in a predictably polluted new area. It’s a future where we do not learn our lessons. The story splits up citizens and non-citizens; governance remains, and there’s a growing sense of a divided society, with the poor having to undermine systems to make a living. For all its fun, Space Sweepers is thematic and a reflection of society, but in modern times.

The story changes when the group of junk-collectors (Robot, Tiger Park, Tae-ho, and Captain Jang) finds themselves in the presence of an android named Dorothy. On the news channels, fear is spread that this android is a tool for terrorism, and can cause havoc by exploding at any second. The android appears to be a young girl, so endearing to adults, giving a strange reminder to Monsters Inc when the monsters had no idea how to handle an innocent child.

A Movie That Shows The Class Difference, Corruption, Unemployment and Various Other Social Problems and Their Effects on Our Life.Absolutely brilliant. Beyond any compliment. The symbolism and visuals of this movie is just phenomenal and touching. Coming from our almost rotten Bangladeshi film Industry, it is like spring after long winter. Maybe you can argue of the acting from Mossharof Karim and Taukir, two legends of industry. Taukir’s character might’ve been a lot lively and natural if his perfomance was up to the mark.
